Comfortable queen beds with

  • Anglea House B&B proved to be better than expected for the modest price. Our self contained apartment was super clean, attractive, extremely comfortable and quite spacious for a couple like ourselves. The kitchen was excellent and well equipped. The bathroom was near new and attractively designed. The owners were helpful but non obtrusive. We’d recommend this place to anyone. Frankly, it would be no hardship to live here for several weeks if required. A bit of a gem, really!

  • Anglea House is our home away from home. We come back at least once a year for a stay to relax and restore our juices, and enjoy Walcha and Liz’s fantastic B&B. Absolutely beautiful grounds, environment and inside has everything you need. Very cosy and relaxing, winter or summer. Very handy to everything and great for going walking anywhere in Walcha. Very well maintained and spotlessly clean and always a nice delicacy waiting for you. Breakfast is generous too! Top marks for everything.

  • This B&B is a purpose built add-on to an historical home in the little country town of Walcha in the central west of New South Wales, well known for its biennial garden festival. The B&B is self contained with a separate entry. It is on a busy main road but the traffic settles down at night.

  • Les and I found Angela House Bed & Breakfast a delieght to stay in, it was very well appointed and most comfortable and quite affordable. WE wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it. The host was most “Hospitable”, friendly and you felt you had known them for a time. The location of the B&B was quite convenient also.

  • Anglea House B & B was a delightful interlude. It provided accommodation in Walcha of an outstanding quality set in the midst of ‘New England’. It was particularly beautiful when we visited in autumn with the magnificent autumn colours. Hosts were welcoming and very obliging, whilst guaranteeing your privacy. The acommodation was extremely clean, with lots of additional personal touches which ensured all the senses were spoiled. Thank you for a lovely stay.

  • This was a great ‘find’. The accommodation was excellent, well appointed, equipped and very comfortable. Walcha (pronounced wolka to our surprise!) is an interesting little town and the nearby Oxley Rivers National Park well worth a visit. Liz, our hostess looked after us very well and we hope to be back again before too long.
